There are many types of mice in this country: –
House Mouse –(Mus Musculus)
-thrives in farm buildings, warehouses, garages and sheds. It eats grain and seeds and is grey brown in colour.
Harvest Mouse – (Micromys Minutus)
The harvest mouse is protected and lives in grassland, hedgerows and on farm land. It is pale ginger in appearance and has a tail that it can use as a fifth limb.
Field Mouse – (Apodemus Sylvakcus)
Also known as wood mouse is common in gardens and usually ends up in people’s homes. It eats seeds and berries and it is brown in colour. Females can have six litters in their lifetime and the litters can be up to eight at a time.
